I am very happy to present THE THINGS WE FEED: SECOND EDITION!
A rotting mansion lurks in the bayou near New Orleans. Can the demons of its former occupants be cleansed?
The Things We Feed is a scenario of claustrophobic and uncanny horror. It is set in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the year 1926. The mystery surrounds a dead artist, his family history, his strange home, and a supernatural infestation. The scenario is suitable for two to five players. It has a playtime of two to four sessions, but can be shortened into a single session.
Danton Garot was the talk of the New Orleans bohemian scene. The surrealist painter’s depictions of odd landscapes, warped portraits, and otherworldly beings captivated the imaginations of those who viewed them. On November 12th, 1926, this rising star faded. Danton Garot was found dead in his home. A calling debt collector saw the young man with his throat slit. His final painting was sprayed with his own blood. It is now November 14th. The investigators have been contacted by one Hector Falstaff. This eccentric and wealthy man wishes for the investigators to complete a simple task. The investigators are to search the house and retrieve a single book for him.
